FromIFM: Beginning April 1, 2024 please note that cars will not be allowed to startlining up until 9:30am. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we workto ensure a smooth process for all. Kindly consider arriving later for shorterwait times. While wait times are typically over 60 minutes at opening, theydrop to around 30 minutes later in the day (after 11:30am/noon).

InterfaithFood Ministry provides supplemental groceries, including baby formula and babyfood when available, to low-income individuals and families. Diapers are alsoavailable at regular food distributions, and they will also hand out diapersonly (no food) on Tuesday or Thursday from 7am-11am.

Peopleneeding free supplemental groceries are allowed to come to IFM once every otherweek.*

Freephones (also known as lifeline phones or Obama phones) for eligible low-incomeNevada County residents.

WHAT:Free smartphones for eligible Nevada County residents. These phones use theT-Mobile network which has limited coverage in Nevada County.

*Updated December 2022: Each individual or family may receive food once EVERYOTHER week. This means a family can visit any day they choose, M, W, F, or Saand that counts as their visit for the week. Then they must skip one week of M,W, F, or Sat Distribution Days, and then they can return on any day thefollowing week. IFM has had to scale back how often families can visit, butthey are striving to provide MORE food during each visit. This will remain ineffect until further notice.

EXCEPTION:If someone is experiencing homelessness, they are able to pick upno-cook/no-fridge food ONCE per week.

Program Hours:
Food distribution is every week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10am-1pm and Saturdays from 10am - 12pm. Except Thanksgiving day/day after, and Christmas day/day after.
Description: Off Hwy 174 and Henderson St to the left of the bowling alley and Beam Easy Living Center.
Bus Service: Bus drops off several blocks from the location.

Eligibility: Residency requirements by providing proof of living in Nevada County. Must produce a utility bill or some form of identification that proves that you live in Nevada County. Social Security numbers needed for each person in the family desiring food. Adults Teens Children Families Females Males

Application Process: Show Social Security card for each person in household, proof of current physical address, agree to abide by Good Neighbor Requirements, show driver's license or state issued ID card
