Description
EX-OFFENDERS ASSISTANCE: Offers programs to resident offenders, ex-offenders and their families. Provides a speakers bureau for the community and networks with local Faith-based organizations and civic groups.
SERVICES:
1) FOOD PANTRY: Clients must bring photo ID.  Households of two or more should get the food pantry paper from CAC (Community Action Counsel) that lists their household size.  Exceptions will be made for newly released former inmates. Offers produce, fruits and vegetables once a week to eligible families of inmates, victims, and the needy.

2) TREE of HOPE: Sponsors Christmas program that includes a Christmas party, toys, clothing, and a food basket for children under the age of 16 whose parent or parents are incarcerated at the county jail. Inmates are referred to the Christmas program through the jail chaplain. Provides furniture, household items, and clothing for inmate families and the needy throughout the year.

3) INFORMATION & REFERRAL: Provides information and referral for employment, clothing, food, transportation, emergency shelter and other community resources.

4) DONATIONS: Monetary gifts, furniture, household items, clothing and food needed. Toys (new) are welcome for the (children of inmates) Christmas program.
