WELLNESS PROGRAM: Works with patients and caregivers to help them make best use of medical system, improving their quality of life, reducing emergency room visits, and shortening hospital stays.
- CARDIAC REHAB: Provides nutrition counseling, tobacco cessation support, prescription and medical equipment assistance, exercises to improve breathing, flexibility, strength, and endurance. Open to patients who have had a cardiac procedure, with physician referral.
- WEIGHT CONTROL: Offers programs for people who would like to improve their cholesterol levels, lower blood pressure and weight, reduce cancer risks, and improve their overall health. Promotes a low-fat, high-fiber diet.
- WORKPLACE WELLNESS: Educational program and screenings offered on-site for employees.
- SAFE SITTERS CLASS: Teaches children between the ages of 12-14 how to handle emergencies when caring for children. Teaches safe and nurturing childcare techniques, behavioral management skills, and appropriate responses to medical emergencies.
- CANCER CARE & SUPPORT GROUP: Offers comprehensive care and a support group for people living with cancer diagnoses. Held in the hospital board room, on the first and third Tuesdays of each month from 6:30 - 8:30PM.
