The 211 Connecting Point Contact Center provides information and referral to local health and human services in Nevada County, Placer County, and the Tahoe-Truckee region. 

Services are available by phone 24/7, and by text and live chat Monday through Friday. Support is offered in multiple languages. 

During disasters, such as wildfires or winter storms, the 211 Connecting Point shares timely updates through its call center and website.

Services include:

  • Phone-based information and referrals to local health and human service programs
  • Online guided search tool to explore community resources by topic
  • Disaster-related updates during emergencies (evacuation info, shelter details, etc.)
  • Support in multiple languages
  • Services accessible to people with disabilities
