Description
Hospitality House offers a year-round, temporary, overnight emergency shelter for homeless residents of Western Nevada County who have lived in the area for 45 days or more. Provides food, shelter, and comprehensive case management services and referrals.
Hospitality House shelters men, women, and children every night and offers connection to many community resources and agencies that together help Hospitality House's guests to regain self-sufficiency and move into permanent housing.

Application Process:
|
Check in each day after completing the registration process (which includes showing proof of a negative TB test or signing up for testing at the center). Each day our guests must check in by 5:00 for admittance to the shelter. Upon sign-in, guests sign up for daily chores and adults must consent to an alcohol breath-test or random or suspicion-based drug testing as a condition of admittance to the shelter. They are also screened for outstanding warrants through the Grass Valley Police Department. Zero- tolerance shelter. Guests can leave their belongings during the day. Guests must agree to the Hospitality House rules and regulations while at the center and at host facilities.
