The Nevada County Public Health Department provides a Certificates & Vital Records Office which registers all births and deaths in Nevada County. Issues the following documents upon request and payment of fees.

  • Certified copies of birth certificates
  • Certified copies of death certificates
  • Burial permits
  • Medical Marijuana Identification Cards
