The PG&E Energy Savings Assistance Program provides free energy-saving home improvements for eligible PG&E customers.

Services are delivered by utility-approved contractors and are designed to lower energy costs and increase household comfort.

Services include:

  • Replacing inefficient appliances such as refrigerators, furnaces, and water heaters

  • Furnace and water heater repair or replacement may be available to eligible homeowners when PG&E determines existing natural gas units are inoperative or unsafe

  • ENERGY STAR® Advanced LED light bulbs that use up to 80 percent less energy than traditional light bulbs

  • Offering weatherization upgrades to improve home energy use

  • Installing insulation, weatherproofing, and energy-efficient lighting
