The Nevada County Public Health Department provides a Suicide Prevention Education Program to support community understanding, reduce risk factors for self-harm, and strengthen protective factors.
Program details include:
- Community outreach and education about suicide prevention
- Coordination of the Suicide Prevention Task Force in Western Nevada County
- Participation in the Tahoe-Truckee Suicide Prevention Coalition
- Access to suicide prevention resources and local training opportunities
