Description
Helps Medi-Cal eligible pregnant women find early and regular prenatal care. A Public Health registered nurse helps with the following services:
  • Find a healthcare provider
  • Make prenatal appointments
  • Understand Medi-Cal for pregnancy care
  • Enrollment in a temporary Medi-Cal program while waiting on Medi-Cal application
  • Referrals to additional services. This may include WIC, transportation, shelters, substance abuse services, and other medical services.
