  • Housing, food, and transportation
  • Academic case management and faculty liaison support
  • Community resources and referrals
  • Basic needs emergency grant non-qualified scholarships

CARES Office Hours: Monday through Thursday, 8 am - 5 pm; Fridays, 9:30 am - 5 pm;
Case Manager Meetings: By appointment only

Eligibility: Sacramento State students in crisis or who are experiencing unique challenges.
Languages: American Sign Language Interpreter available on request through the office of Inclusive Excellence or the Disability Access Center depending on the needs of the client, Spanish, English
Application Process: Call, email, or visit the CARES office.
Walk-in or schedule an appointment online to meet with a case manager.
Call the CARES office or email calfreshsacstate@csus.edu to schedule an appointment for CalFresh application assistance.
