Description

The PG&E Vulnerable Customer Program offers the Vulnerable Customer Program for households where electric or gas service disconnection could pose a serious health or safety risk.

Services include:

  • Temporary protection from disconnection for nonpayment for customers with verified serious medical conditions
  • In-person visit and physical notice delivered 48 hours before disconnection
  • Vulnerable Customer status that lasts 90 days, with an option to request a one-year extension

Additional notes:

Eligibility requires submission of the Vulnerable Customer Application. Customers may self-certify for initial protection and must reapply for extensions.
