Description
Granite Wellness Centers provides access to naloxone (brand name NARCAN), a medication used to reverse opioid overdoses.
Naloxone can temporarily block the effects of opioids such as heroin, fentanyl, morphine, oxycodone, and codeine.
Services include:
- Access to naloxone (NARCAN) for individuals, families, and community members
- Education on overdose response and how to administer naloxone
- Information about opioid safety and prevention
- Referral to substance use disorder treatment and recovery services
Important:
Naloxone is a temporary treatment. Always call 9-1-1 immediately when responding to a suspected overdose, even after administering naloxone.
