Description
The County has created a General Fund to establish a rental assistance program for eligible residents who cannot return to their homes due to the impact of local wildfires.

This program will offer eligible fire victims help with: rental payments, replacement of household and personal items, moving and storage costs, rental deposits, utility deposits and payments, and credit counseling, as needed.

Information about applying for this new program may be found on the Ventura County Recovers website, which provides a comprehensive source of information for all matters relating to fire recovery, and on the Ventura County Human Services Agency’s website.

Must be a Ventura County resident

Must be homeless or facing homelessness within 21 days due to the impact of wildfires in Ventura County.

Must be financially able to maintain housing after this rental assistance is received
Languages: Multiple language interpretation is available, Spanish, English
Application Process: Call Homeless Services or email HSA.help@ventura.org to speak with aprogram representative.
