Sacramento County Waste Management facilities where residents living in Sacramento County can drop off garbage and household hazardous waste:By law, loads must be covered with a tarp when dropping off any waste. Commercial businesses may bring hazardous waste materials to NARS but will be charged fees for each type of material.

Description: Accepts: (15-gallon or 125 lbs. total load limit) antifreeze, brake fluid, car batteries, cooking oil, fluorescent tubes, home generated needles and syringes (in sealed hard plastic or metal containers), household batteries, mercury thermometers and switches, paint (latex), small aerosol cans, transmission fluid, used motor oil and filters.
