A Family Resource Center (FRC) offering a variety of services, activities, and family programs to families with children up to the age of 18.

Services and Resources include, but are not limited to:

  • Birth & Beyond In-Home Visitation: Provides weekly case management as well as parenting lessons to clients in the privacy of their home
  • Parent Education Classes and Workshops: Provides group parenting workshops that are designed to improve parenting skills and promote education among parents. Includes Court-Ordered Parenting Classes.
  • School Readiness Services: Offers age-appropriate learning and development skills and reading resources, as well as information on free books and how to establish reading routines.
  • Crisis intervention and CPS joint visitation (as requested)
  • Group Exercise and Self-Defense Classes
  • Black Infant Health and The Black Child Legacy Campaign
  • Infant Safe Sleep Workshops
  • Car Seat and Other Safety Classes
  • Socialization and Recreation Activities

Home Visitation: Serves at-risk families that are pregnant or have children from birth through age 17 in the following zip-codes: 95811, 95814, 95816, 95817, 95820, 95818, and 95819.
Languages: Translation services available for other languages upon request, Greek, Hindi, Mongolian, Polish, Punjabi, Spanish, Tagalog, Urdu, English, Sanskrit
