Agency: Next Move Homeless Services, Inc.

Resource Number: 4094858
Alternate name: MCC - Next Move Families, Mather Families

Description
Beginning 6/30/2023, families will no longer be able to access shelter through the Sacramento County Emergency Family Shelter Reservation List (https://dhaservices.saccounty.net/efs) previously managed by the Sacramento County Department of Human Assistance (DHA). Families seeking shelter should call 2-1-1, or dial 1-844-546-1464, to be assessed for shelter options and connected to other homeless services. 2-1-1 is still in the middle of making this transition and will update when a complete application process has been established.

Focuses on helping families with at least one minor dependent rebuild their lives through intensive employment and rapid housing services. The 12-month program provides transitional housing, case management, employment readiness, and life skills workshops.
