FREED offers programs and resources for seniors and people with disabilities.

Services include:

  • Assisting people with making decisions about their short- or long-term care needs
  • Assistance with tools and devices to support daily living including an Equipment Reuse Program, a Device Lending Library, and a Vendor Services Directory
  • Making minor home repairs and modifications that support seniors and people with disabilities through the Fix It Program
  • Benefits Counseling and planning to help sharpen Independent Living Skills and Youth Services
  • Access to computers and the internet, a Friendly Visitors Program, advocacy, information and referral to help answer questions about disability related needs and issues

FREED is a Independent Living Center and a lead agency for the Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC).
