Hospice of the Foothills provides patients who have life-limiting illnesses with options that offer comfort, compassion, and dignity. The focus of hospice is on caring and on getting the most out of life at the end of life. Hospice provides medical, emotional, and spiritual care. In most cases, care is provided in the patient's home, the place most people choose to be at the end of life. At the center of hospice is the belief that each of us has the right to die pain-free and with dignity, and that families will receive the support they need.

Program Delivery
Eligibility: Has to be certified by doctor as terminally ill, with a life expectancy of 6 months or less, and have stopped any curative treatment. Adults Teens Children Families Females Males

Application Process: Must call Hospice at (530) 274-5139 and ask for the Intake Coordinator who will help begin the process.

Program Fees: Most of our services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid and many private health insurance companies. You can also choose to pay privately. Our staff can help assist patients, families, and physicians in determining eligibility and researching all available financial resources.
