Eligibility: Basic services available in our Resource Labs are available to anyone; enrollment in other programs or social services is not required for assistance. Some types of assistance will require specific eligibility and are based on need and availability of funds. Call for more information.

Youth: 17-24 with barriers.

Adults 18 years of age or older: Unemployed or underemployed with the Right to Work in the USA

Dislocated Workers: 18 and older, laid off or let go due to business closure or no longer self-employed or those reentering the workforce due to a divorce/separation/death. Adults Teens Females Males
Languages: Spanish, English
Application Process: Visit center for more information and appointment with a Career Center Advisor.

Documents Required: Right to Work, Age verification via government issued document, selective service requirement. Other documents will be requested as required for program.
Service Area: Nevada County Locations in Grass Valley and Truckee - covers all of Nevada County. AFWD also provides the same services and assistance to Butte, Plumas, Modoc, Lassen, & Sierra Counties.
