Nevada County Public Health Department (NCPHD) provides information about communicable diseases, reporting requirements, disease prevention, and related health information.

The Communicable Disease Program works to stop transmission and minimize complications associated with communicable infections and diseases.

If people have questions about COVID-19, Long COVID, or other communicable diseases, the Public Health team is available during regular business hours to answer questions at 530-265-7258.
