Eligibility:

Low-income families and seniors. Qualification for a Section 42 community apartment is determined by the Department of Housing and Urban Development Agency (HUD), and laws mandated by the federal government. Income must be verified (including standard wages and all other sources, such as child support, pensions, socia lsecurity and asset income) prior to being accepted for residency and is reviewed annually to assure continued eligibility. A simple two page application form is available in the community offices however, will not be distributed unless a specific vacant unit is being applied for.

Documentation of any and all sources of income for every member of the houusehold. Examples of this documentation can include Social Security and other programs Award Letters, Pay Stubs, Asset documentation, etc.
