The Connecting Point Employment Services department offers the #CaliforniansForAll Youth Jobs Corps program. The program is focused on hiring youth ages 16-30 to work with local nonprofits or government agencies in the areas of COVID-19 recovery, food insecurity, and climate action. The program is open to both English only and Spanish only speakers.

#CaliforniansForAll Youth Jobs Corps has three core goals:
1. Increase employment for underserved youth across California
2. Develop meaningful public service career pathways
3. Enhance the capacity of local governments to address challenges in the key areas of food insecurity, climate action, and COVID-19 recovery

Program Delivery
Eligibility: The #CaliforniansForAll Youth Jobs Corps focuses on hiring youth who may not have access to traditional career-building resources. Priority will be given to youth applicants ages 16-30 who:
Have not participated in an AmeriCorps program.
May have difficulty finding employment.
Are low-income.
Are unemployed and/or out of school.
Are or were justice-involved.
Are in or transitioning from foster care.
Are engaged with the mental health or substance abuse system.
