Program: MEDICATION TAKE BACK - NCPHD

Agency: NEVADA COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT

Resource Number: 86807021
Description

Nevada County Public Health Department can help you keep drugs out of reach of kids and protect our water supply by properly disposing of your prescription medications.

In addition to permanent drop-off sites, there are periodic "Prescription Drug Take-Back Days," which are free events hosted by local law enforcement and the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) to give our community safe and convenient ways to drop off expired or unused prescription drugs.

Take back days depend on funding being available.
