Description
Provides local support to adults following a mental health crisis, or preventing a mental health crisis. Serves as a social rehabilitation facility that averts the need for hospitalization. This is a voluntary program (up to 30 days) that helps with: 
  • Stabilization
  • Prevention of future crises
  • Development of a plan for the future
Services include daily groups focused on:
  • Wellness and recovery
  • Coping skills
  • Medication treatment
  • Education
  • Daily living activities
  • Peer support
  • Other topics as needed

Program Delivery
Eligibility: -Adults (ages 18 and up) with mental health issues who are on the verge of or just experienced a mental health crisis
-Need referral from Shasta County Mental Health Outpatient, medical provider, or case worker

-Must be ambulatory and medically self-sufficient (due to Community Care Licensing restrictions)
Languages: Language interpretative services available upon request, American Sign Language, English
Application Process: Clients need a referral from Shasta County Mental Health Outpatient, medical provider, or case worker
Payment methods: Sliding scale, Accepts Medi-Cal, Accepts most insurance
Documents Required: Photo ID/DL, Insurance
