Uniformed citizens provide services to the community under the direction of the Department including crime prevention presentations, traffic control and vacation home security checks.

*Check-in calls to homebound seniors and disabled individuals are available through the You Are Not Alone (YANA) service.

Eligibility: To participate as a Volunteer for Citizens Volunteer Patrol:

Must be a US citizen at least 18 years of age or older

Must have a valid driver's license

Must have high school diploma or GED

Must pass an oral exam

Must pass a background screening



You Are Not Alone Program prioritizes seniors but will serve any home bound individual.
