Program Delivery
Eligibility: - School-aged children, Must be enrolled at a school for 2021–2022 school year and participated in the federal School Breakfast Program or National School Lunch Program, Must be eligible to get free or reduced-price meals for 2021–2022 school year; Attended school via independent study (California's version of virtual learning) or had at least five excused absences in a month; Young Children: Must be 6 years and younger in between August 2021- August 2022, and were part of a household getting CalFresh food benefits
Languages: Interpreter Services Available, Arabic, Armenian, Farsi, Hmong, Korean, Punjabi, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog, Vietnamese, English, Chinese
Application Process: No application required; If a child meets the eligibility requirements, a card will automatically be mailed to eligible families based on information from other programs (including CalFresh Food benefits and free or reduced-price school meals); Each child will receive their own card
