Description
Anyone who has applied for child support enforcement services at DSS or who is receiving cash assistance through TFA can receive reduced-fee paternity testing. Fathers who deny paternity but who must be tested can also apply at DSS for the reduced fee test. Testing is arranged by DSS. It is not necessary to be receiving or applying for cash assistance to be eligible for this service.

Program Delivery
Eligibility: Must have applied for DSS child support services or be on welfare
Languages: Spanish
Application Process: Apply at the Child Support Enforcement units at DSS regional offices and sub-offices
Program Fees: Maximum fee of $48.50 per person for paternity testing arranged through DSS; No fee for voluntary paternity establishment (no testing)
