Description
Provides housing assistance for eligible people including homeless and near-homeless people through a variety of programs:

- Emergency Shelter Clearinghouse: For emergency shelter, assistance to prevent eviction, and information on community housing resources and referrals. People seeking temporary care for their pets must already be enrolled in a housing support program through Dakota County Supportive Housing Unit to see if their pet can be sheltered by referral.

- Housing Related Coordinated Entry: Provides housing intake and assessment for single adults and families who are homeless or at risk of losing their housing

- Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Transitional Housing and Supportive Housing Program: Advocacy and case management for eligible homeless families with minor children and pregnant women. Some participants of the program may qualify for a maximum of 24 months of transitional housing rental subsidy.
