Description
Common entry point for Adult Protective Services. In Minnesota, Adult Protective Services are an effort to identify and remedy maltreatment of Minnesota's most vulnerable adults for the three basic kinds of maltreatment:

- Abuse: physical, emotional or sexual

- Neglect: caregiver neglect or self neglect

- Financial Exploitation

- The reporting center refers maltreatment reports to the lead investigative agency within the appropriate jurisdiction: Hennepin County adult protection services, the state Office of Health Facility Complaints, the Minnesota Department of Human Services Licensing Division, or law enforcement, depending on where the maltreatment occurred and whether or not criminal activity is suspected.
