Project CHILD (Chemical Health Intervention, Linkage and Development) provides assessment, referral and case management support to pregnant women ages 16 and older who are less than 34 weeks pregnant and using controlled substances or alcohol habitually or who have been reported to Child Protection for controlled substance abuse or alcohol abuse anytime during their pregnancy. Project CHILD collaborates with many county and community based resources for services.

Program Delivery
Eligibility: Pregnant women ages 16 and older who are less than 34 weeks pregnant and using controlled substances or alcohol habitually or who have been reported to Child Protection for controlled substance abuse or alcohol abuse anytime during their pregnancy. Girls younger than 16 and pregnant women over 34 weeks are served in Child Protection; serves Hennepin County residents.
