Description
Start Today is a Housing First, group residential housing(GRH) program that works directly with long term homeless adults, youth and families within Hennepin County. Assists with finding permanent housing in the community along with providing intensive case management services. Services include:

- 24 hour on call case management
- Chemical, mental and physical health support/resources
- Hennepin County economic assistance support
- Applying for Social Security
- Communication and advocacy with landlords and tenant rights
- Referrals to other available community services and resources

Program Delivery
Eligibility: - Must be long term homeless

- Have a documented disability and staying in shelter or precariously housed

- Single adults, youth and families within Hennepin County
Languages: Interpreters available
Application Process: A referral is required through the Coordinated Entry process. This process is open to individuals who are staying in an emergency shelter or working with a street outreach team and sleeping outdoors (camp, car, transit, etc). Individuals currently staying with friends or family, or who are in treatment will not be able to access Coordinated Entry.
