Provides Adopt-a-Senior program for seniors (60+) and adults with disabilities who are DHCL clients. Starting Friday, November 21st, 2025, look for the Adopt-a Senior Christmas tree at one of these locations:
- Redding - Dignity Health Connected Living, 100 Mercy Oaks Drive
- Redding - Mt. Shasta Mall, 900 Dana Drive
- Red Bluff - American Embroidery Mart, 223 Main Street
Select a tag on the tree to adopt a senior or adult with a disability. All information is on the tag, including where to deliver gifts.
Accepts the following donations of items without a tag:
- Gift cards or cash
- Robes, slippers
- Lap blankets
- Chocolates
- Stationery, stamps
- Large print puzzles, jigsaw puzzles
- Sweaters, coats, hats, gloves
- And anything else that would bring joy to a senior.
Cannot accept secondhand items, food, pet supplies, or heavy items.

- Redding - Harry Ritchie's Jewelers, Mt. Shasta Mall
- Redding - KIXE - 603 N. Market Street
- Red bluff - American Embroidery Mart, 223 Main Street.
Last day to drop off gifts and donations is typically mid-December.
