Provides volunteer opportunities for adults ages 55 and up. Opportunities include: - Foster Grandparents - Mentoring children
- Senior Companions
- Meals on Wheels (food delivery)
- Transportation
- Helping seniors prepare for natural disasters
- Food bank distributions
- Library work
- Clerical work
- Greeters
- Home health and hospice
- Hospital escorts.
Foster Grandparents & Senior Companions programs offer seniors a small stipend and mileage reimbursement.
Provides outreach materials for how to be prepared in the case of a disaster and/or PSPS event. Email tina.brown@dignityhealth.org.
