Description
|
ADOPTION: Provides reunification services to parents/guardians, whose children enter foster care due to abuse or neglect. If reunification with parents/guardians cannot occur in a timely manner per laws and regulations, permanency can be achieved through adoption by a relative or a non-relative, such as a foster/adoptive parent.
Children are placed with dually-licensed foster/adoptive parents who have previously applied to foster and adopt and have been approved to do so through a home study process.
