Description
|
ADOPTION SERVICES: Provides services to foster children who are unable to return to birth families. Children become free for adoption after court determination that it is no longer safe for the children to return to their birth families. Children may also be placed for adoption at the direct request of their birth parents.
Most children are adopted by foster parents, who have previously applied to adopt and have been approved to do so through a home study process. Most of the children freed for adoption have special needs and disabilities.
