Description ADULT PROTECTIVE SERVICES: Serves individuals 18 years of age and older who lack the physical or mental capacity to protect their health, safety, and welfare and/or adults who are unable to protect their own interests . Investigates to prevent or remedy the abuse, neglect, self-neglect, or exploitation of vulnerable adults who are unable to protect their own interests, and are at risk of immediate harm to self or others.
