EARLY START: The program provides a preschool learning opportunity for non-disabled three year old children. Children with varying disabilities and non-disabled peers will have the opportunity to learn and play together, build self-esteem, and develop acceptance of others. All children will have access to a developmentally appropriate curriculum which includes learning centers for activities such as dramatic play, exploration of sand and water, computer learning, math/science, art and writing.
EARLY ENTRANCE: To be eligible for Early Entrance, your child must turn four (4) years old between Sept. 2 – Oct. 15. A parent/guardian may make a request for early entrance into kindergarten if the child turns five (5) years of age between September 2 and October 15, of the school year for which they are requesting early entrance.
