Focus is on public safety and emergency preparedness. After a severe weather event or a disaster residents can complete a damage assessment survey. The surveys allow the City to collect damage information for private property to assess the extent of the overall damage in the City. This information will assist the City in determining resident needs for response and recovery. This information may also lead to additional formal damage assessment by Baltimore City. For more information and to access the survey, please visit the damage assessment page, https://emergency.baltimorecity.gov/damage-assessment. Community presentations on emergency preparedness are available upon request.
Please note that completing this survey does not guarantee disaster aid from the federal government or the City. This survey is not intended for life-threatening needs. In the event of a dangerous situation or any life-threatening emergencies, please call 911 immediately.
