Description	Funded by the Tompkins County room tax to improve landscaping and appearance of places likely to be visited by tourists. Seasonal program staff and "Beautification Brigade" volunteers plant and maintain planters on and near the Ithaca Commons and roadside gardens in high visibility areas. Also distributes funds to rural Tompkins County towns for their own beautification programs.

Volunteer Duties	Plant and maintain spring and summer flowers on city traffic medians and Ithaca Commons. Annual training in March: free and open to anyone who wants to volunteer with the program.
