Description	Funded by the Tompkins County room tax to improve landscaping and appearance of places likely to be visited by tourists. Seasonal program staff and "Beautification Brigade" volunteers plant and maintain planters on and near the Ithaca Commons and roadside gardens in high visibility areas. Also distributes funds to rural Tompkins County towns for their own beautification programs.

Hours Of Operation	April-December: weekly volunteer opportunities Tuesday, wednesdays, or Thursdays. Occasional evening or weekend sessions. Mon: 8:30am 4:30pm Tue: 8:30am 4:30pm Wed: 8:30am 4:30pm Thu: 8:30am 4:30pm Fri: 8:30am 4:30pm
Physical Location Description	Various gardens around ithaca.

Volunteer Duties	Plant and maintain plantings on city traffic medians and Ithaca Commons. Annual orientation in March: free and open to anyone who wants to volunteer with the program.
