COVID-19 UPDATE 4/1 In partnership with The Food Bank of the Southern Tier and GIAC, Cornell University will host an emergency Community Food Pantry on the basketball court at GIAC, 301 West Court Street beginning this week. It is open to the Ithaca community, Tuesdays/Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. (There are two basketball courts, and it is not on the one next to the pool). 7/29: The last day of the GIAC pantry is 8/6/2020 as per Karen Brown.
Multicultural, educational and recreational programs for social and individual development for all ages, particularly youth and teens, including services to: - improve quality of life
- advocate for youth, families and underrepresented or disenfranchised populations
- provide structured employment training opportunities for at-risk youth and adults
- fight against oppression and intimidation in the community
