APPLICATION ASSISTANCE: Helps people of Frederick or Washington Counties who are homeless or disabled for mental health reasons apply for disability benefits available through the Social Security Administration. Assists with obtaining necessary documents, such as birth certificates and photo identification cards, needed to apply for benefits. "SOAR" stands for "SSI/SSDI Outreach, Assessment, and Recovery."
