Description
|
The mission of Hearts and Homes is to provide critical support services to families who currently have children in foster, kinship, or dual custody care by providing programs and training that aim to preserve and strengthen family ties. Programs include:
Supervised visitation - a safe and neutral location for family members to visit their children. Visits can also be supervised in the home or other environment.
Custody exchange - supervised custody exchange in a neutral environment in accordance with a parenting plan or legal arrangement.
Classes & workshops - Parenting Through Separation and/or Divorce workshops based on the Nurturing parenting curriculum. This 2.5 hour educational workshop covers how to interact with the child's other parent constructively and how to help the child cope with familial changes and challenges. The workshop is typically offered monthly.
