Description OVERVIEW: Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS), as required by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), attempts to locate, identify and evaluate all children and students from birth through age 21, with and suspected of having a disability. PGCPS’ obligation extends to elementary and secondary school students who are parentally placed in private, religious or home school environments that are geographically located within Prince George’s County.
