Description
|
MONEY MANAGEMENT: Works with Social Security to arrange to have the clients' benefit check deposited into a direct deposit banking account. Trained volunteers monitor any other financial needs that arise and alert client's referral agency.

|
Single adults with disabilities, in Anne Arundel County, needing help to manage limited income. Must provide medical documentation.

|
Case manager should call Department of Social Services. No walk-ins and NO self-referrals.

Volunteer Duties
|
Interest in assisting disabled adults. Some financial management background and must be able to pass a background check.
