|
CORRECTIONAL FACILITIES: Provides individualized care and treatment to youth who have violated the law, or are a danger to themselves or others. DJS strives to help young people, with the involvement of their families, reach their full potential as productive and positive members of society. Develops an action plan for treatment and behavior modification. Coordinates additional social, education or mental health services and inform youth of community service and employment opportunities. Offers the following programs: Female Intervention Team, Social Responsibility (Community Service Placement), Project Uplift-Juvenile Reading Program, Drug Court Program, Day/Evening Reporting Center Alternative, and In-House Diversion Program.
