OVERVIEW: Provides a food pantry and financial assistance to residents of Anne Arundel County living within the catchment area.
1) FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Provides emergency funds to help prevent utility turn-offs, legal evictions, prescriptions and water bills. For utility turn-offs the client must first get a referral from the Anne Arundel Community Action Partnership, must be MEAP eligible and have gone to DSS to apply for any programs that they are eligible for including MEAP. Clients may receive funds once every 12 months. Must sign in by 1:30PM. Must present ID, address, birth certificates for everyone in the home and social security cards for everyone the home. Will provide up to $100 towards a bill.

2) FOOD PANTRY: Picture ID, proof of residence, birth certificates and Social Security cards for family members are required. No referral is needed. Applicants who are eligible for DSS must apply there first and show proof to NCEON (must wait 21 days after you receive your monthly food stamps). Formula, diapers and adult supplements are sometimes available. 1PM is the deadline for food sign up.
