|
UTILITY BILL PAYMENT ASSISTANCE: Assists with MEAP and EUSP applications only. Provides Electrical Universal Service Program (EUSP) and Gas Arrearage Retirement Assistance (GARA). EUSP assists with electric utility bill payment. GARA assists with past due portion of gas utility bill. With GARA, individual may only receive an arrearage grant of up to $2,000 once every 7 years, with certain exceptions.

Documents Required
|
Copy of applicant's photo identity, proof of residence, copies of Social Security cards for all household members (including children), proof of household's total gross income for 30 days prior to application date (from all sources) and a copy of the most recent utility bill, and a copy of the lease (if renting).
