Description
|
CASE MANAGEMENT: Provides individualized care and treatment to youth who have violated the law, or are a danger to themselves or others. Helps youth with the involvement of their families, and to reach their full potential as productive and positive members of society. Case managers often screen police, school, and citizen complaints. Assess the nature of their actions, needs, and prior history. Also develops an action plan for treatment and behavior modification. Offers counseling services, evaluates their progress, and makes recommendations. Coordinates additional social, education, or mental health services. Places youth in community service programs as well as identify employment and recreational opportunities.
