Eligibility
|
Howard County residents 18 and over who meet income requirements. For utility bill assistance-must have turn off notice. For rental assistance-individuals must have already been to court and have a judgment against them. For burial assistance-deceased individuals must have been a Howard County resident and must have been receiving either TCA or SSI; not eligible if they received Social Security. For first month's rent, must demonstrate ability to pay remaining months on lease. People are encouraged to apply to assess for all grants.
