Description
|
NOTE: Must be a family that includes a minor child or pregnant individual, and a U.S. citizen or legal immigrant who resides in the county, has applied for Child Support Services and participates in some sort of work activity.
INCOME SUBSIDY: Offers opportunity for families to become independent of welfare support through work, personal responsibility and community involvement. Program has a 5-year lifetime limit for benefits. Clients are required to participate in work activities for a minimum of up to 40 hours per week, in exchange for temporary cash assistance.
